Turkey Stalks Local Michigan Woman

A woman living in Oakland County claims that she was stalked and aggressively harassed by a 23lbs. turkey. Edna Geisler, a 69-year-old woman stated that the turkey wanders near her Commerce Township area on a daily basis, directly near the woods.

She claims that she had to change her schedule just to avoid him because he would move toward her when she arrived at the usual time. The turkey went after a friend of hers, Rick Reid as well, right after he opened the door to his minivan.

“He tried to come right in the door,” Reid said. “He bit me on the elbow.”

Geisler is hoping the turkey will be gone by the summer so she can work on her garden, hunting season is open in April.
